Windows Networking Platform for Developers

The Windows Networking Platform for Developers provides developers with a rich networking platform for building robust network applications. Please use this connect site for learning about, staying up-to-date on, and giving us feedback about our Core Networking technologies such as Winsock, WSK, QoS, System.NET, WinINet, HTTP Server API, and WinHTTP. This site is geared towards sharing information about core networking technologies available to service and application developers, but should also be used for submitting direct feedback about bugs as well as feature suggestions.

In order to submit bugs and suggestions we ask that apply for this program. Applying is easy and acceptance is automatic. To apply, go to the application page where you will be automatically approved. From there you have full-access to the site and can use the "Feedback" link for submitting bugs and making suggestions for future releases. You do do not need to register, nor sign-in, if you only want to browse the content of the site.
